What is PPH?

PPH, Primary Pulmonary Hypertension, is a rare and commonly fatal disease that has no known cause. It results in the progressive narrowing of the blood vessels of the lungs. This causes high blood pressure in these blood vessels and eventually leads to heart failure. PPH is commonly linked to both Avandia and Fen-Phen.
