What is the life expectancy for people with Primary Pulmonary Hypertension?
In the early 1990s, an individual that was diagnosed with primary pulmonary hypertension could expect to live for three years. Now, however, thanks to a number of medications and increased knowledge of the disease which is due partially to an increase in the number of cases, individuals can expect to live longer. Despite the longer life expectancy, there is still no known cure.
