Steven J. Kherkher

Steven J. Kherkher has been practicing law for nearly two decades, and is a long-time partner of Williams Kherkher. Steve has undergraduate and masters degrees from the University of Houston and graduated cum laude from South Texas College of Law. Steve is licensed to practice law in Texas, New York, Arkansas and Pennsylvania. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Houston Bar Association, and State Bar of Texas.
Steve successfully tired dozens of fen-phen cases, and is currently heading up the Vioxx docket. Steve is responsible for managing several pharmaceutical dockets, such as PPH.
Primary Pulmonary Hypertension, or PPH, is a rare disorder of the lungs in which the blood pressure in the pulmonary artery – which carries oxygen-poor blood from the heart's right ventricle to the lungs – reaches dangerously high levels. Side effects from defective drugs such as fen-phen and the Orho Evra birth control patch have been shown to cause PPH.
John T. Boundas

John T. Boundas co-manages the firm's PPH docket. John, also a partner at Williams Kherkher, was first in his class at the University of Iowa College of Law. He is licensed to practice law in Texas, Pennsylvania and Illinois. Additionally, John is licensed to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Western and Northern Districts of Texas, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals and the Third Circuit Court of Appeals.
John tried several of the firm's fen-phen cases in recent years, many of which involved patients with PPH. He is now heavily involved in the litigation surrounding the defective drugs Vioxx and Paxil.
Jim Doyle

Jim is an associate with Williams Kherkher with nearly two decades of experience as a mass tort and personal injury litigator. He successfully represented thousands of clients of the diet drug Fen-phen, and currently is involved with the Vioxx litigation.
Jim graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and went on to earned a Juris Doctorate from Oklahoma City University. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the State Bar of Oklahoma, the Houston Bar Association, the Houston Trial Lawyers Association, the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, and the American Association for Justice.
Jim is licensed to practice in the U.S. District Court, Northern, Eastern, Western and Southern Districts of Texas. Additionally, he is licensed in the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for Third, Fifth and Seventh Circuits.
